It's Shakespeare. Everybody dies in the end! Right? Well, sometimes. Not always. Comedies are nice; they end in a wedding. Then it's only the groom who wants to die, right?!

But seriously, folks. One of the most viral parts of Shakespeare, once you get past the depressed guy talking to the skull and the boy talking to the girl on the balcony, is the wild and crazy ways many of his characters died. Shakespeare's Death Scenes are available all over the internet on everything from wall posters to pie charts.

When I go into classrooms to talk about Shakespeare, I like to bring something for the students to remember. That's where the idea of bookmarks came from. It's easy to print as many as you need. They're a guaranteed conversation starter and also educational! Students will no doubt recognize those plays they've read, but if you didn't know somebody exits pursued by a bear or gets baked into a pie (and fed to his mother!), it's definitely going to get your curiosity up.

Over the years I've created a lot of content like this to share. My children are grown now, and rather than let the files get lost to time I wanted to share them with other Shakespeare educators. I hope you find them useful and enjoyable. I can always be reached at ShakespeareGeek.com.
